My elderly, 96 year “young” mother lives with me. We have got to a point where some additional support is needed for mum and will be great for me. My challenge was to find someone in whom I could trust to provide the highest levels of care in a discreet, professional and totally empathetic manner. For my family, care for “mum”, “grandma” and “great grandma” needed to be the best.
When I heard that Laura was setting up on her own, I immediately sat down and had a coffee with her. I explained our situation and what I really needed now, but what I might need in the future. Laura was simply amazing – I felt an immediate sense of understanding, calm and relief. She met ‘mum’ not long after and was an immediate hit. Laura now comes once or twice a week, sits and chats with mum, shares stories, checks she’s OK and is building a brilliant relationship.
